Advantages: great camera pacled with features for a keen starter photographer!

Disadvantages: It will sometimes place flash on when you dont need it to-but you can alwaysturn it off!

Ok, Im not an expert on photography but wanted a camera that would take quality pictures with out streching the bank balance to much, I immediatly started looking around for cameras, and looked sraight to Sony. Having had a sony camera before, i knew they would be reliable and good value for money. It was then I discovered the Sony CyberShot DSC-T9 it comes in different colours, you are able to get, Silver (matt) black (matt) and pale pink(matt), I originally wanted the Pink but was told by the shop assitant that the pink scratches off, and it ends up looking scruffy, so his suggestion was to go for silver, and I agree I like it, its classy simple and it means if i was to go off pink it wouldn't matter!

What I like about this camera is that is 7.2 megapixals, now it doesn't sound alot when you hear about these 10. and even 12 mp but I have found that its perfectly adequate, and takes excellant pictures that arn't grainy and are crystal clear.It also lets you change the mp option so if you wanted to upload to say facebook but didnt want to waste ages doing so a lower pixal resolution helps! It also has a 3X optical zoom, a 2X digital zoomm which is great when you want to focus in on say the boat in the distance. It comes with auto focus and anti shake tchnology which is gret if your like me and constantly shake when tking a picture, it puts and end to all those blurred photos. It also has no lens, just a large 2.4" LCD screen with an internal flash, its great it means the camera is slim and there isn't a bulky lens to worry about!IT also has the use of a carl zeiss lens which apprently is quite good, although i don't really know!

It also has the option of different colours such as sepia black and white negative etc for those extra special times! It also has the standadfeatures such as a mode fo close up detailed items, as well as a sport mode(so you can capture fast moving things) party mode, beach mode, fireworks etc

Also another nifty feature is that it puts your pictures onto a slide show which allows you to, put backing music to it. It comes with cables that allow you to connect it to the television and it charges just by taking the battery out and placing it on the ocking stand which is great it means you dont have to connect your camera up!

I woul throughly recommend this camera for the ametur photographer, as I feel it is great value for money and is packed with added extras! Don't expect it to be a dazzling all singing all dancing camera but this modest little thing is great for someone wanting to capture those key moments in life

oh and by the way I don't know what is says £345 at the top the camera certainly isn't that infact it can be bought for £116 and even £88 on ebay! SO ignore that at the top!
