My wife bought this camera as a present for herself two years ago, and we are still using it on certain occasions although we have upgraded to a DSLR. We have the Black version, although I understand that it also comes in red and silver.

I love the wide screen that comes with the camera. The unique thing about it is that it is touch screen and allows the users to select from a wide array of options and customizations to suit users preferences. There is a small plastic pencil which comes with the package that can be tied to the camera to be used to click on the touch screen.

The features that come with the camera are excellent. One of the main features I loved personally was the face detection function which allowed the user to focus on faces of targets before snapping away.

The flash and window of the camera slides down when pushed by the user at the front of the camera. I didn't really fancy this and after awhile the slider sometimes became stuck and as such you wouldn't be able to take your pictures.

The quality of the pictures have been good even in low or high light conditions. If you know how to use your settings you are likely to take better pictures. However, even if you stick with the automatic functions, the 8.1 megapixels which come with the camera do an ok job.

Being a Sony product, the memory card is a Memory Stick and as such you would need to get one from Sony and it makes life slightly more challenging as you are unable to use the card reader which you have with most PCs. However there are many external card readers that cater for this.

It is however a very good looking camera and sturdy to say the least. I have been using it for a few years and have dropped it a couple of times so I can say that in that sense it is durable.
