Advantages: lots of features, stylish

Disadvantages: Image quality doesn't live up to expectations, expensive.

The Sony cyber-shot DSC-T2/G is a lightweight compact camera weighing in at 156g which includes the batteries and the memory card. Can't get much lighter i hear you say... I agree. It makes it one of the smallest camera on the maket to date measuring just 86.8 x 56.8 x 20.2mm.

It has 8.1-megapixel with a 3x zoom lens equivalent to 38-114mm. It has an amazing 4Gb of internal memory (so you may not even need to buy a memory card for this one!) and a vibrant 2.7 touchscreen LCD. It is able to store well over 1,200 pictures at the maximum quality setting, or over 1,500 at the 5MP size.

It is a modern, stylish camera that comes in a variety of colours which include: black, white, turquoise blue, bright pink and the metallic lime green; this means you can personalise the camera which your personality or as a gift.

The Sony cyber-shot DSC-T2/G has many features such as face detection technology, smile shutter mode and Sony double anti-blur solution to minimize blur and to ensure sharp colours.

However, one bad point about this camera- it's image quality. Because Sony want to make the most of this camera internal memory, the files are very compressed which average out about 2.1MB per picture. This is very small for an 8 megapixel camera.

In conclusion, this camera is extremly stylish and ultra compact and has a range of interesting and helpful features. However, it is quite expensive, around about £200, and the image quality does not live up to this.

Summary: Quite an expensive camera for low quality pictures. But some good features included.
