After much research, I went for this camera because of its large screen, small body and integrated zoom. The camera is rock solid, it's is clearly built to last, and finished with brushed aluminium - which looks great and doesn't tend to scratch. The screen is bright and clear, and it's simple to access and navigate the various menus. Picture quality is fantastic - what really strikes me is who brilliantly colours are reproduced - brightly and true to their original state. The flash works well too, not making things over exposed, although the red eye function never seems to eliminate those red eyes for me. Battery life is good, I've snapped 100 photos with flash and red eye in a night and still had plenty of power left. I particularly like the flick of the shutter to turn the camera on and off, making point and shoot stuff to capture the moment very easy. Video is also handled very well and is of excellent quality, so perfect if you're uploading to Youtube or similar. My only problem with the camera is that sometimes, in a warm environment after lots of use, the autofocus continually moves, not actually focussing on anything, rendering the camera pretty useless until it cools down!

Summary: A very easy to use, small, light and good quality digital camera.
