I was recently in the market for a cheapish digital camera, for both personal and work use. I actually found this camera a lot cheaper than the compare function on this website is showing. I went down to the local Costco, which for those of you don't know buy a huge selection of items and sell them for cheaper than the RRP, you have to do your research though as not all items work out cheaper.

Anyway, I paid about £110 which I thought was pretty good.

I am not a technology geek, however I have become Sonys B*tch, hd this and blu-ray that, and wanted to be able to upload pictures of the properties I go round (Im an estate agent), and also pictures for when I am smashed out of my noodle on the town.

This camera is perfect for both and can be easily navigated using it's touch screen. I am the normal man and don't ever read through the destruction manulas, more keep pressing it and see what works out for the the best.

Just a small level of statistics, the camera comes with a 3.0" widescreen touch panel, which for a camera that can only be 3.4" is pretty impressive. Face detection for those nights on the razz where pictures become really blurry and also a smile shutter.

Also, I realise most people's concern with these things comes with uploading the pictures, it's all well and good to take good photo's but what use are they if you can't upload any of them. I have never had a problem with the package that comes with this and it takes me roughly about 20 seconds from when I plug the camera in to when I can browse through the images on my computer.

These are the core selling points of the camera and unless you are truly involved in digital photography I would say in the year 2008 this is a fantastic camera for the price and will hopefully keep me going for years to come.
