Sony touch screen camera (Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77)
Member Name: friendofmaddo
Advantages: Very good quality photos Disadvantages: Touch screen not for clumsy fingers The camera is well suited to the amatuer photogapher, although the 10.1 megapixel feature may be a lot for some who just want photos for picture frames. There is a large touch screen on the back, the first attraction of the camera. Being clumsy, I thought it would break soon after purchase, but it survived two large ski crashes without a scratch, though i would recommend a case for safety. The front has a sliding panel which ties in with the general sleek design of the camera. When capturing photographs, you can pinpoint exactly where you want the focus, be it the lanscape, forescape or a person's face. Another feature is the range of scene settings that the camera caters for with just a touch, such as taking two pictures in dim light to increase the chance of a good photo. so a person who doesn't know how to adjust the camera settings for optimal pictures can do so easily. It is an adaptable camera, well equipped for short movies as well. However, the touch screen would need a gentle hand, and also would be a little trouble for someone with awkward fingers. A good all-rounder camera for everyday use, with friends and for special occasions, for a younger consumer. Summary: Is worth the price, especially for the younger amatuer photographer
