Advantages: excellent quality snaps from compact camera

Disadvantages: hard to find features

I have had this camera for over 2 years and find it compact enough to carry around in my handbag everyday. The touch screen technology makes viewing photos very easy, you can easily zoom in and out of pictures and remove red eye. There are many very good features including smile shutter, this is a feature which waits until the person is smiling before the picture is taken, you can also set the level of the smile. My favourite setting is the face recognition, this puts a box around the persons face and ensures the face is in focus for the pictures. I have on occasions struggled to easily find some of the setting including switching to black and white.

The memory card has to be placed in an small white adaptor to be used in the universal laptop and printer slots but I have found when buying a new memory card this is included.

the battery life on the camera is very good and it can take 150+ photos from full charge however due to the sliding front of the camera I have found it does turn on very easily in my bag or pocket, for this reason i recommend using a case with the camera. Sony batteries cannot be charged with many of the universal chargers on the market which is a bit of a pain a new charger from Sony costs over £40

The quality of the photo's is superb and they are very easily transferable to laptop/PC.. The camera has 8.1 mega pixels which is significantly less than modern camera but I can't say I can see the difference. I have the camera in the light pink colour but have found over recent months it is easily scratched or dented.

As I bought this camera a while back I can't remember the exact price f although it was in excess of £200, I have been very happy with the camera. Unfortunately recently the motor has become jammed but I feel I have had good use of the camera and I am now on the look out for something new and better! I look forward to reading the reviews before I buy!
