The Sony W170 digital camera has to be one of the best value for money cameras. The quality which would be expected from Sony is still there, and also it shoots great photos. There are various features on the camera, for example the smile shutter, which is great for pin pointing faces when taking photos, and the megapixels on the camera is high too, 10.1 to be exact. I've had the camera a few weeks now, and I'm very impressed, the camera tends to be better in more lit areas, however the flash helps with the picture quality in dark areas, which can sometimes be a little poor. The camera has a lithium ion battery, which lasts for long periods of time, the charger is great, and charge time around 3 hours, so I tend to charge at night, and shoot in the daytime. The camera allows you to choose the amount of megapixels to shoot with, this can help if you have limited memory space, and however I recommend you have adequate memory to take full advantage of the camera.

Summary: Great little camera for the money, very reliable.
