Compact and simple digital camera (Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W50/S)
Name: Gilloooooo1
Advantages: Large screen with clear photographic icons displayed on the screen Disadvantages: Small zoom button but no real problem I love this camera. The best digital camera I've used so far. The screen displays exactly what you are using and it's not complicated. The battery life is long and displayed on the screen, which means you can keep an eye on whether it needs recharging. I find the movie feature excellent. Here's how, turn the dial to movie and the icon appears onscreen press the top button to start recording and to stop, simple! Therefore, there is no need to wade through the manual. The zoom is placed around the main top button and performs well, and to navigate around the picture you use the large outer circular button at the rear bottom right. This lower button is not too small, otherwise it would be awkward to use. The delete procedure is not too easy, therefore preventing accidental deletion. However, it is straight forward. One excellent feature is the small automatic cover that prevents damage to the lens. I would like to see some type of protective cover for the rear screen, although most digital cameras have a similar exposed screen. Therefore, I simply place the camera in a soft cloth bag. Overall I find the camera small, compact and clear to use. Summary: Small, compact and easy to use for stills and short movies
