Advantages: compact,great battery,ace pictures
Disadvantages: battery charge time,flappy covers
the first digital camera i had was a kodak and ive stuck with those for around 4 years, but when i first saw this i thought id push the boat out a little and buy something a little more expensive.....and ive not looked back since!!
LOOKS AND PRACTICALITY...
This camera is amazingly compact,it fits easily in the palm of your hand yet somehow manages to harbor a 2.5" LCD screen. When the camera is not operational it a perfectly flat rectangle on every side but for the top which makes it great to carry in the pocket. The camera itself is very light yet made from a very tough, and very durable metal, which does not scratch or dent easily, mark my words:)
SCREEN...
At 2.5" the screen is a great size, large enough to see your pictures and what your about to shoot, yet not so over whelming that it takes over the camera. The screen is very durable and even rattling around in my pocket has not left it with any blemishes on.Although it does get dirty pretty easily!
PICTURE/IMAGE QUALITY...
At 6mega pixels it doesnt boaster the largest resolution on the market but it does put them to better use than some of the much larger 10 mega pixel camera. My friend just bought a 10mega pixel camera from dixons,a samsung at 109.99 think it was,and the picture quality on this cybershot reigns supreme. There are 7 different functions on the camera that aid picture quality, the usual sort of landscape, portrait, night mode, beach mode, etc these all work much better than ive experienced on other cameras, especially the beach mode, which takes the shine of water and sand!
BATTERY...
Takes forever to charge at 4.5 hours but when full will last long enough for you to take in the region of 400 snaps!
OTHER...
This camera takes the usual sony memory duo memory card,it has an optical zoom, which is a little lacking at 3.0 but has a digital zoom of more than double that. The flash is very powerful and doesnt battery drain too heavily.Another slight down is the flaps that protect the charger and battery slots etc, feel a little flimsy so just be careful with those.A great camera for almost anybody
Summary: ayou cant go wrong with this one!!
