I bought this camera as I wanted something that would give me good quality pictures, though would not be too expensive, and the sony cyber-shot certainly delivers. The picture that are produced are clear and detailed, and when viewing the finished images, you can definatly see that it is a good quality camera. The camera itself is very attractive, with the lense taking up most of the front. The screen is wide enough to see the pictures that you have taken in enough detail as to establish whether it is a good picture, as opposed to many of the cameras that I have owned recently. It is small enough to fit into a clutch bag when taken to a party or such, so that is a bonus for those wanting to take it out and about without it being too clumpy. It is easy enough to work, offering face recognition and shake control, and also some editing features. I use it for general pictures of family and friends, and so it is valuable for this. The only thing that it didnt have, as opposed to many of the other cameras in its price range, was special features such as sepia and black and white, which you can add afterwards, and this does not detract from the camera itself. The camera comes with a battery pack, which is especially useful, as other cameras can eat up batterys like there is no tommorrow, though the lithium battery that this camera comes with lasted me two days out in London inwhich I took a great deal of pictures, and some. Overall this is a great camera for the price.
