My only complaint with it is the battery-compartment door, it's made of PLASTIC which has been chromed to match the other real metal accents on the camera. It is easy to operate but does feel brittle when you do so. It is spring-loaded so it pops-open easily when it is slid down. The door also hides where the MS DUO Pro Memory Stick is inserted (sold seperately).

I needed a digital camera to take pictures just around the house, so I didn't opt to buy an expensive SLR. This Cybershot DSC-W80 by Sony is a great point and shoot, and it's loaded with features to enhance your photos as well. This camera is sturdy and can take a beating. The casing is made of metal, aluminum most likely, and I do believe there is a titanium version of this camera if you're willing to spend the extra $100. I have accidentally dropped this camera countless times and it always works just fine afterwards. My only complaint with it is the battery-compartment door, it's made of PLASTIC which has been chromed to match the other real metal accents ...
