This was my first digital camera and it has had a fantastic impression on me. I have used my dad's cameras as he has had a couple of digital slr's on top of many single piece cameras like this.
Alongside this camera i bought a 4Gb memory stick which made this ideal for taking away on holidays with me or just out to a party. The huge range of modes which this camera can provide makes it suitable for almost any photo. The landscape shots, night shots or simply just a portrait shot can be fantastic with great quality. After the first couple of uses and uploading the photos to my laptop, my brother was so impressed he also bought himself the same camera with a silver body. We both use our cameras so much now as it is unbelievably easy to use and produces photos of high quality. The only fault which i have found with this camera, but is not much better with other cameras, is when the light is not in the best places, instead of producing just poorer quality shots with darker faces etc, it leaves streaks over the photo.
Apart from this small flaw, the camera has caused no problems and provided fantastically for myself and my brother.

Summary: Great camera and would recommend to anyone
