Advantages: Excellent Build Quality, Great Features

Disadvantages: Bad Picture Quality, Terrible Purple Fringing, Have sent mine back

I have had several digital cameras, most recently a sony 717 as was looking forward to getting the 828. I am very dissapointed with the results from this camera, there is too much purple fringing on high contrast shots to be acceptable.

The camera its self is very well made and feels much more professional than the 717. It has a comprehensive feature set, but until picture quality improves I cannot recommend this camera.

I will be returning the camera and am looking for another one to replace it. I am thinking about a Minolta A1 or a Canon Sureshot G5 as this would go well with my Canon 10D (a truly Great camera !!)
