Sony Cyber-shot DSC-L1/LDescription: Model ID DSCL1L.CEE5 / Sony Cyber-shot DSC-L1/L - Digital camera - 4.1 Mpix - optical zoom: 3 x - supported memory: MS Duo, MS PRO Duo - blue / The challenge to Sony engineers: pack a 4.1-megapixel, 3X- optical zoom camera into a hip little package a fraction the size of a candy ... more Measuring 3 3/4" x 13/ 4" x 1", the L1 model is powered by Sony's Real Imaging Processor circuitry, delivering outstanding shot-to-shot speed, stamina and quick start-up time for catching the action as soon as it happens. For the first time in the ultra-compact class of digital cameras, the Cyber-shot L1 model delivers a 1.5-inch transflective LCD, making it easier to see what's on the LCD even in bright sunlight. It also has a new Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3X optical zoom lens, setting the stage for picture quality typically delivered by larger, more expensive digital cameras. Like all Cyber-shot cameras, the DSC-L1 model has speedy auto-focus and auto-exposure options to snap the best picture the first time. You can quickly select the best setting based on the shooting conditions by choosing from one of seven preset modes, including twilight, snow, beach and fireworks. Four newly developed technologies - including a linear focus drive and a compact high-resolution optical system - combine to produce the ultra-small lens. This lets you zoom in for crisp images of a flower or zoom out for a far-away shot of the game-winning goal, all the while staying in sharp focus. The L1 camera provides approximately 240 shots per charge of the InfoLithium battery, with a to-the-minute, on-screen display of remaining battery life. More Sony digital cameras

I love this camera. It takes excellent quality pictures, it is very easy to use, and it is so quick too: about 1 second to load when you turn it on!! The camera comes with re-chargeable batteries and a charger, which gives it more life and lets you take more videos/pictures, as it increases the memory. I found it very easy to set up and, once I had gone through the instructions leaflet and tried a few things out, I found it easy to use too. - Instruction leaflet: very detailed and well explained. - Battery life: On the condition that you use the rechargeable batteries, supplied with the camera, here ...

JPEGs) and videos (as MPEGs) to your heart?s content. So to sum up, I like this camera a lot. I must say that I only bought it due to the combination of the low price point, 3.2 megapixel capability and Sony brand name (plus the movie facility), but I?m not disappointed. The only black mark I can give it is the lack of extras ? a case would have been nice, but you can?t have everything. Anyway, I?m off to take a picture of my old Olympus so I can auction it on eBay? ...

me help you. This will NOT be a technical opinion on how happy or unhappy i am with my pixels, zoom and other ermmmm stuff about my Sony digital camera. It will be a simple description of what i think as a non technical person. I've had my digital camera since Christmas. It's small = GREAT, easy to pack in your bag or suitcase just make sure you buy a case to protect it. It's light = GREAT, for the same reasons. See above. There aren't too many buttons = GREAT, the lesser the better as far as i'm concerned. I don't want to have to remember which button needs pressing for which function while i have this great thing in front of ...
