Being a dedicated manual user for many years I felt I had to catch up. After many months of complete bafflement trying to find out from numerous magazines and web sites what would be the easiest and best to use I decided to take the leap on a trip to Canada last year and put myself in the capable hands of an assistant at Dixon’s at Heathrow airport. After demonstrations of several different makes I plumped for this camera due to its ease of use and nice looks. I have tried to make this review as user friendly as I can for the technophobes whom I sympathize with as I am one The Camera Push and point button on top Power button on/off ... Before purchasing my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P10, I spent weekend after weekend shopping around, reading digital camera reviews online and asking the advice of friends. After a few weeks of searching, I decided that this camera was "Simply the Best". It's a decision, which I haven't regretted. This camera is so easy to use; you can practically use it without reading the instructions. The best feature of this camera is the outstanding quality of the pictures. It far surpasses the quality of any of my friends' digital cameras (some of which were more expensive than mine). Even on the VGA setting, the pictures are very clear. On 5 mega-pixels, the picture ... Read the complete review

On opening the box, my first impression was how small and simpler the P10 was. After checking the manual to ensure I enserted the battery and Memory stick (32Mb) the correct way, I was ready to take my first photos. After years of using an SLR film camera, I have been very disappointed with the results from many digital cameras, but after using the P10, I was pleasantly suprised. The P10 offers many different resolutions, but I set it to the maximum of 5.0 megapixels to gauge the quality. I couldn't believe the results. I took a photo and printed it on photopaper, and it was as good as a real processed photo. On the highest quality, the file ... Read the complete review

Definitely this digital camera is worth the buy. It`s my first but I really like taking pictures from it and making short email length movies to send to my buddies with sound. But the only problem lies in its design or shape you can say as It`s not friendly with the hands. It seems to be dodging your fingers most of the time. I`d reccommend this camera but with a add-on for a better grip. There are a reasonable amount of features and many ways you can take your picture. Three at a time or with medium flash level. A sepia mode which is like a white xray like feature. Zoom works 3x optically while 6x is digital zoom. I mostly take pictures in email format to send ... Read the complete review
