It is also worth increasing the size of the megastick so that you can increase the number of photos you can take before filling up the memory, especially if you will be using the movie mode a lot as this eats up a lot of memory. I use a 256k memory stick as this fulfills my needs quite easily. I tend to copy my photos and movies onto my laptop once a month and this is simple to do if your laptop takes Sony memory-sticks. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P12 is one of the best digital cameras on the market. It has 5 million megapixels giving top quality pictures. It has taken me a long time to make the decision to move to and buy a digital camera. In fact I brought a new SLR two years ago because I believed that for my level of usage the cost (Particularly of printing) would not justify it. Various factors have now changed (e.g. comparable processing charges at Boots with film), but I was not fully convinced. However, having purchased this camera I am now hooked. The DSC-P12 is basically the DSC-P10 but in a fashionable "blue" case, the kit comes complete with soft carrying case and extra battery for "Stamina".
