Ok if you are considering buying a digital camera but are getting really confused because you're actually getting TOO MUCH advertisement and you're seeing TOO MANY products on the digital cameras market ....... let me help you. This will NOT be a technical opinion on how happy or unhappy i am with my pixels, zoom and other ermmmm stuff about my SONY digital camera. It will be a simple description of what i think as a non technical person. I've had my digital camera since Christmas. It's small = GREAT, easy to pack in your bag or suitcase just make sure you buy a case to protect it. It's light = GREAT, for the same reasons. See above. There aren't too many buttons = GREAT, the lesser the better as far as i'm concerned. I don't want to have to remember which button needs pressing for which function while i have this great thing in front of me i want to photograph RIGHT NOW. All functions appear on the small screen = GREAT, it's like a reminder (a second husband in a way) that helps you go through the process. Do you want this picture to be black and white, or sepia or in colour? Just click on the appropriate choice. Quality of the finished pictures = GREAT, as it turned out, i have printed all my Christmas pictures taken with my Sony digital camera on my photo printer; and these pictures were beautiful Christmas presents for the whole family! BUT, i suppose i have to say there's a small feature that i'm not completely happy with: the ON/OFF button. It is so tiny that it usually takes me two or three clicking on it before the camera turns itself ON or OFF accordingly. I guess it's a minor point. My SONY digital camera is not the only SONY product i have purchased. I am expecting to live a happy and long life with it.
