I have owned a DSC-S50 since September last year and since then, have taken it everywhere. It is an excellent piece of equipment, especially if you upgrade the 4MB memory stick supplied with it to a 32MB, which has the capacity to shoot in excess of 80 pictures. The MPEGMOVIE feature is an added bonus for those who don't have a need for a full blown camcorder. The battery also lasts a long time between charges and downloading the files is extremely easy - all software and cables are supplied.
