Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S75Description: Model ID 046-409 / Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S75 - Digital camera - 3.3 Mpix - optical zoom: 3 x - supported memory: MS - metallic silver / DSC-S75 takes you to a new level of digital imaging quality. Sharp and clear images are captured in vivid colors by the 3.3 megapixel CCD, ... more The CCD imaging system allows professional grade, stunningly detailed images with fantastic color definition for a variety of print and multimedia applications. Push-button operation of the high-quality Carl Zeiss lens' zooming function allows you to zoom in up to 3x optically. That's equivalent to a 34 - 102mm telephoto lens and magnifies your shot to put you right up close to the action. Zooming back to wide angle for a clear view of the bigger picture is also push-button easy. All without distortion, blurring or other loss of image quality. Extra digital zoom electronically doubles the range of the optical zoom to 6x, allowing massive telephoto zooming while preserving image quality. Improved interpolation technology means that digital zooming is clean and clear, with less blocking and distortion than ever before. Advanced version of the MPEG "movie mode" allows you to capture short video and audio sequences with your camera and save them digitally. High Quality (HQ) version provides improved image resolution and sound quality plus full screen sized images. The data can then be viewed then and there on the cameras LCD screen, on a TV via the AV-out, or simply and digitally transferred via Memory Stick, CD-R or floppy for editing, printing or storage on other multimedia devices supporting MGI Video Wave software. To increase usage flexibility Sony has incorporated a Burst mode feature into some of its digital cameras. Using a buffer memory system, the Burst mode temporarily speeds up data transmission between shots. This allows you to take 2 - 3 consecutive shots without needing to wait for the camera to record each individual image. Burst mode is especially useful for photographing sports, wildlife and any action filled situation. DSC-S75 lets you set the exposure time your shot yourself, and then automatically adjusts the aperture size accordingly, or vice versa. Manual mode gives you full control over the camera's aperture size and shutter speed settings, providing you complete freedom to experiment and be creative without automated functions. Rating:
This is small light weight camera, with a good size screen. Its a huge improvement on the cybershots and produces good quality pictures. Not the cheapest camera on the market, but you can feel the quality. The internal memory holds enough pictures for a day out, but you will need a memory stick, which are different to the ...

Rating:
I can t say enough about this camera! I searched for reviews and looked in stores for weeks before I made my choice. The first look at the Sony V3 and I knew it was the right one. I held it and saw the huge lcd screen and I wanted it, but I still wanted to look and make sure this was the right camera. Sometimes the appearance is the only thing the camera has that is good, but in this case this camera is rated a 10 for all reasons for me. I compared the Sony v3 to the Canon G6 and I just did nt like the silver color of the Canon and it was too big and bulky compared to the nice sleek small Sony v3. The black is the best color for this camera as well in my opinion. I ...

allowing the attachment of Sony s range of lenses. Whilst not as varied as some proffessional options, this is a real benifit for those wanting more out of their photography, but at a budget. The memory stick is only 32mb and so an upgrade is pretty much essential.I have recently experianced compatiability problems with iphoto on my mac. This camera is no longer compatiable with the new software updates(after iphoto3) and the bundled software from sony is unable to run on my powerbook. I blame apple for the first, sony for the latter. All in all, I am happy with this product for what it is-middle of the range-in price, detail, build/weight. Check the new dsc w7 for the ...
