A fantastic camera for a first time user. The easy to menu and functions are great and the 10.2 mega pixle sensor pcks up so much detail. Coupled with a few choice lenses from ebay and other places you can kit your self up for a few hundred quid. Using the back catalogue of minolta lenses for a fraction of the cost of new sony lenses makes sence for the cost savy. Quality shots at low ISO (lo80 to 400) and only slightly lacking in the high making the alpha a great starter. I have used this camera on location and in the studio and it performs great. I would recomend getting an external flash gun for location and low light shots. Sigma make a selection of lenses along with carl zise also. I am looking at getting the A380 as my next camera as all my lenses fit. On the whole a great camera and would reccomend to anybody.
