Sony Mavica MVC-FD85

Rating:
you wish to use it for, if its taking pictures for auctions then I would't pick this camera because you don't need a 500 pound camera for that. The cheapest Mavica will do the job just fine for that. So why would you want to spend that kind of money? What do you get? Although all the Mavicas look the same from the outside, inside they all perform very much in different ways. The higher you go up the range the better quality picture and higher resolution you get. This one max is 1280x780 and the min. is 680x480. The lower you go the more you get on disc..set it to the smallest resolution you get about 10 per disk. The highest...you get about 3-4. The battery ...

Rating:
Everything's digital nowadays, so should your camera be any excepetion? Yes and no. While the Mavica FD83 does many things right, it drops the ball certain key areas. It is a jack of all trades, but a master of none. The Sony Digital Mavica FD83 is the middle child of the Mavica family. It's nestled quite nicely in terms of features and price between the lower model FD73 and higher models FD88 and FD91. For starters, it must be mentioned that the one outstanding quality of this camera (and the entire Mavica line) is its medium for storing photographs. Sony eschewed traditional forms of storage, such as flash cards and internal memory and even it's own ...
