Excellent camera for taking snapshots. Pretty good definition, Although could be better for making larger prints (8 By 10 and up). The zoom capability is very good, as is its ability to take nice, acceptible shots in lower than optimum light conditions. In my opinion, battery life could be better, a plus here is the auto shut off when it has been idle for a time, but when actively taking photos, it just seems like there should be another 1/2 hour or so to battery life. Basically good onscreen instructions for the picture effects abilities, however, I would certainly like a few "reminders" on a laminated card that would come attached to the shoulder strap. If I were to have that, I ...
