Advantages: Save onto floppy discs

Disadvantages: Poor resolution of images

SONY builds quality machines, and this camera is no exception. Although it is large it has TWO outstanding features. The first is it has 10x optical zoom, and the second is that you can use FLOPPY DISC's to storeimages. This is Alot cheaper than using smart media cards, and you can then use the disc on any pc. The main draw back of this camera is its resolution. With a Res of 350K, its not really good enough for todays standards, but if sony were to get hgher res. than not many piccies would fit on to the floppy disc.. so i guess you have to compromise. If you do have the money to buy a digi camera than, go and buy the Fuji MX1200. Its much cheaper and better quality, i know cos, i reviewed one earlier.

True, but the low res of this version does aloow a few saves. Once you go up to the more powerful high res versions, you can save only 2-4 pics per disc. Also with the advent of the sony Memory Stix, with capacities of around 16-256 megs, the floppy will be taken out of the market, or so i think.!!

Saving on a floppy is a great advantage
