Sony Mavica MVC-CD1000
First CD "Swallow"! Way to Future? (575 words)by - written on 24/10/01
Rating:
In a camera Mavica MVC-CD 1000 is used mini CD-R disk by a diameter 8 mm. And the name Mavica (Magnetic Video Camera) has got to it by right of succession from MVC-FD95. It is same power and big camera with 10 optical zoom, system of stabilization of an image Super Steady Shot and 2,1 megapixel matrix. The main feature of the camera is CD-R. On the disk "for Mavica" it is possible to save 156 Mb of data and to receive after shooting ready and durable photo-archive. With price in $4 for disk even the usual photographic film can not compete with it on cost of a frame. On CD for the camera the single saving is possible only. For first setting disk in the ...

standards, but if Sony were to get hgher res. than not many piccies would fit on to the floppy disc.. so i guess you have to compromise. If you do have the money to buy a digi camera than, go and buy the Fuji MX1200. Its much cheaper and better quality, i know cos, i reviewed one earlier. ...
Sony Mavica MVC-FD71
Instant Digital Pictures (261 words)by - written on 27/05/01
Rating:

You just insert a 3.5 inch floppy disc, point and press the button and your picture is saved onto the disc. On fine mode you can get about 20 images on a disk. On standard mode you get about 40 images on a disk. The flash can be forced on or off, it can also be set to automatic flash so it only comes on when the camera “thinks” it is needed. There is a colour LCD on the back of the camera, which is used to view and take the pictures. Pictures are saved as a *.jpg file. The down ...
