If you're looking to buy a quality camera I'd say go with this one. It has a great zoom and good feature set. I bought this camera figuring it will take about 3-4 more years before a true 35mm replacement camera will be at a reasonable price.

I love this camera. Usable out of the box (once the battery is charged). Everything about it is a step up from the 83 and 88 EXCEPT having to charge the battery IN the camera. Should include a charger like the other cameras. Elsewise...EASY features to use. CLEAR pics, great macro. Seems to me to be a better cam with more than the 85 that just came out.

The best part of this camera is the storage being normal floppies, making the transfer to the PC very easy and convinient. Make duplicates and format floppies using the camera. Single floppy can hold max of approx 15seconds. Digital Zoom 16X is more then adequate for a day to day camera user. All in all a pretty good camera, yet another mark left in the camera world by Sony. ...
