The Sony A35 is a highly underrated Camera which rivals the class above never mind the entry Level

I will start off by saying alot of people under rate companies like Sony trying their hand at new technology having bought the camera just over a month ago i could not have been more impressed with the camera`s capabilities.
Firstly costing around £400 a good price for a high end entry level DSLR but this has a major advantage over SLR`s if you do not know it is a DSLT which features translucent mirror technology which Sony have won many awards for. In my opinion in a few years all camera`s will be using this technology so i thought i was already ahead of the game.
The camera itself performed very well image quality wise using its big sensor to its advantage, also with pleasing low light performance a high setting expandable to 25,600 which is more that you get with any Nikon or Canon models until you get to professional models. Also showing off it can shoot 5.5fps which in sport fast moving situations pleases me alot.
The biggest reason I decided to buy this camera though for me it the thought of the constant autofocus all the time no fiddling about it works like a dream this is the same in the video which proves very, very handy indeed. The kit lens is fine and with an array of arty effects and filters to apply they seem to be more useful that you would think also covering the essential full manual settings if you wish to use them personally the auto-mode works fine for me.
The cameras ergonomics have been nicely done fitting nicely into any willing persons hand i find the camera is a nice weight that is never unbalanced. In my opinion though from behind the camera looks a little ugly with the fixed screen which makes more of a difference than you would think but no real big problem. Sony have also included HDR, 3D picture mode and a raw mode. One last thing the viewfinder is not optical but electronic still works as well as it is 100% coverage what you see in the viewfinder is what you get! To get this in a Canon or Nikon you have to get a model worth £2000.
Overall Sony have achieved alot in this model and i look forward to the next model.
