... my opinion It s lightweight and easy to use. I think that the pictures come out fantastic!! Battery life is decent. I recommend as with any camera to have a charged back-up battery with you at all times. It s not the best if you need to capture pictures quickly...shutterspeed is lacking. This is vely slim and you can carry everywhere you want and this come with 3 color.a little more buttons on its pannel but the large LCD panel helps to do all the works very easily.This will help you if you are a new person towards photography.As we have said this before this is less in weight and size so very good to catch the perfect moments of your life. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX1 ... to make it obvious that you have a camera with you. It s mobile phone size . Actually lengh wise it s Slimmer even. Width is understandably thicker though. The 24mm lens is really handy. The w300 had a 35mm wide end and this was annoying as it meant a lot stepping back or clipping off of scenes...Not so with the WX1. It s 24mm G lens is Wide and believe me you will appreciate it. Nice one Sony. I love its low light capabilities!! And I will say that twice if I have to.! It s AWESOME. ISO 400, 800, 1600 are all good in Program and iAuto modes. But in the New TWILIGHT Hand Held Mode and the Anti Motion Blur Mode where the WX1 takes SIX shots in around a Second ... You can also use the Zoom during recording. 1280 x 720 (Fine) (Approx.30fps, Progressive); 1280 x 720 (Standard) (Approx.30fps, Progressive); 640 x 480 VGA (Approx.30fps, Progressive) Bracketed exposure, set it to automatically take 3 photos with the exposure set 0.3/0.7/1.0 apart. this it great for HDR photography or just to get the right exposure. Has some in camera memory but uses the Memory Stick PROTM upto 16Gb sticks, i m using the Sandisk 4Gb rather than the Sony Branded type and they work fine.
