Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W270 ... Sony W270 is the latest addition to the cybershot range of compact cameras. It s packed full of features, taking images at a resolution up to 12 megapixels, featuring a 5x optical zoom & also giving you the ability to take wide angle shots. But the big question is beyond these specifications, how does this device actually perform? Well the image quality is good producing sharp & detailed photos when taken at the maximum resolution. This is down to the superior Carl Ziess lens which is featured. However I did notice that the camera seems to struggle under low light situations. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W210 ... when I had to manually open the shutter on my old Sony and the battery slide had dropped off so I had to hold the memory card in I thought it was time to buy a new camera. I bought this on my recent cruise and so I paid $179 for it which was actually a very good price for this camera. I mean it doesn t do backflips but for my usage it is perfectly acceptable and very easy to use. I m afraid I am not too great on the technology side of things so this review will mainly be on the features and the ease of use because I can t really comment on the tech bit as i don t quite understand it. Sony a (alpha) DSLR-A200K ... Sony Alpha 200k is a nice piece of kit for the first time DSLR buyer. When compared to the Canon and Nikon DSLR market theres no comparison on price and quality as nothing in this price range can beat it (the olympus entry level DSLR with pancake lens to me isnt a true entry level DSLR) and unless you want to spend £100 more for the Canon EOS 450D nothing can touch it. If you have never used a DSLR or an SLR then the first thing to note is its not simple by any means, but luckly enough theres a full Auto setting. The size of the camera is average for a DSLR and everythings where you would expect it to be. Build quality is a bit of a worry as it feels solid enough ...
