Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W210 ... m no techo expert, however the camera does what I want it too and more. It is cute, handy, fits easily into luggage/bag/pocket and produces high quality pictures. I wouldn t use it for anything professional, however it pick up distances well and has clear cut, line defining pictures, with attention to detail. It also comes with some good functions and adequate space. I would recommend this camera as a starter. However, after only 3 months of having this camera a slight knock broke it so it can be tempremental. Definitely get insurance on this one. I wanted a new camera however I was on a budget so I started to look for a new camera. The sony range of camera caught my attention since they are a well known and the people who own sony cybershot cameras rate them highly. I paid £70 including postage for my the sony cybershot camera which I think is very good value for what you get. Sony a (alpha) DSLR-A200H ... DSLR for beginners! I was a complete novice when I purchased this camera and found it easy to use with easy to understand menus. The price was excellent I would recommend it to any budding photographer. Be warned though the lenses are a little steep compared to Nikon or Canon. I liked the fact that you can use the Duo type memory sticks as well as the Compact Flash variety so if you have other Sony equipment this will save you some pennies. The body of the camera feels well built and solid, doesn t feel plasticky like others I tried. I found the picture quality very good for a budget range camera even on fairly large blow ups.
