Advantages: an easy to use, functional camera
Disadvantages: blue hue on screen
I recently set out to buy a digital camera along with some friends for our closely approaching holiday abroad. With a set budget and little information on digital cameras we set out to the shops and spotted the M70. We were told that the M70 was the newest camera launched from toshiba on the market at that moment in time. It has a 3.3 mega pixel ccd and a 16 megabite smartmedia card that is capable of storing up to 163 low-resoloution shots or 13 of a high quality. The toshiba has a lithium-ion battery which is charged up by a standard AC adapter which was supplied. The image quality that this camera can produce is razor sharp even from a distance but one setback is that all images were set onto a blue background which can be looked upon as either a downside as not all colours are shown to how they actually are or an advantage as it is technologically reasuring. This does not matter as when transfered to the computer the pictures become crystal clear anyway. The cameras functions are functional and easily used and you come out with the best possible results that you could want from a camera. Well worth the money.

- 15/01/01 3.3 megapixel sounds good as with all the latest digital cameras these days. Was there an option to hvae a slightly bigger smartcard (i.e 64MB)? I presume it didnt have a LC screen where you can view the pic.?Also wondered how much it cost? sory for all the questions but I am seriously thinking of buying one!! thanks, great op! |
