Okay I live in australia and is in there early teens the main reason I bought this camera is for when I go for a body board what I wanted
was a cheap small and easy to transport camera what the vivitar 5188 is.

Pros:
It's a small camera and it's great in the surf for your surf picture needs. At the price line as well it's a bargain and the pictures are great quality in natural light. The movies are of great quality but I wouldn't suggest to you to buy it if you were just trying to buy a Video camera. It's a good standard camera for the basic photo and movie needs.

Cons:
The problems with it is in a dark room or in your house it doesn't take as good pictures as in natural light which can cause blurry and crap photos now with my cameras you use the night mode
But with this camera it's just not effective enough there always a problem with the lighting.


All in all the Vivitar 5188 is a great small camera and meeds the demands of public use.
