Advantages: Great pictures, Features Galore
Disadvantages: Not found any yet
I recently bought this camera to replace a much more expensive camera that at a couple of years old needed updating. I begrudged paying out another couple of hundred of quid on something that I'd probably be replacing anyway in another couple of years and after searching round came across this camera. The features on offer for the price seemed too good to be true!
So what's it got......
8.0 MP
3 X Optical Zoom
4 X Digital Zoom
3.0" LCD Screen
Face Detection
Smile Detection
Anti-Shake
Li-ion battery and charger
Pictbridge compatible
32MB internal memory (supports SD/SDHC memory card up to 4GB)
Upload photos to PC via USB cable
20 different Scene Modes
Image Resolution 3264 x 2448, 2816 x 2112, 2272 x 1704,
1600 x 1200, 640 x 480
Video mode Resolution 320 x 240, 640 x 480
It's really compact and comes with carry case, wrist strap and detailed instruction booklet. At 3" the LCD monitor gives a clear, easy to see image and in addition to the above you also have the ability to attach a voice memo of up to 30 seconds to still images.
Since I've had it I've taken photos of my dog whilst jumping up and down (me, not the dog!) using the anti-shake setting, drove friends/family mad trying out the face and smile detection settings and despite my hardest efforts to get a bad photo, every single one has come out crystal clear and in focus.
So if you want a point and shoot camera with loads of extra features, that looks good, is small enough to fit in your pocket or handbag (about the same size as a pack of cigarettes) this camera is unbelievable value for money!
Please Note: I also review on Amazon under username Big Bertha and this review (or a version of it) may appear on there
