Advantages: Nice-looking touchscreen, slick black-glossy casing design.

Disadvantages: Auto-focus, pixelation at digital zoom, lack of ease to understand setting functions.

Now I bought the Vivitar T328 blindly from a television shopping channel, due to their ability to convince the consumer that everything on their channel is absolutely worth the price, and like the naive imbecile I am I bought this camera.

It has a good-looking touchscreen which is a nice feature, but the systematic layout of the options are not very clear, and the settings can be very inconvenient to stroll through. The optical zoom functions are very clear and there is no pixel distortion of any kind, but once you cross into the digital zoom section you can notice clear pixelating of the taken image, but like with any other camera within this price range this type of magnifying is to be expected, so I no longer even use the digital zoom qualities.

The auto-focus of the camera I would claim to be a complete failure on this product, 7/10 photographs I take when transferred to a computer will clearly be blurred and unusable, but when you do capture an unblurred image, the quality is very good and clean, which is probably the most positive thing I will say on this review.

All in all, I would not say this product is worth the price, but if you are a family on a budget who are not interested in high-tech clean images and perfect image contrast, then I'd say it would be sufficient. For anyone else, it's a no go.

Summary: Not worth the hassle.
