      Advantages

      Disadvantages

A basic digital photo frame that does the job.

I was quite sceptical about digital photo frames a first. I'm an avid photographer and like to see my photos in print, but my husband did suggest a digital frame would allow more pictures to be shown, which is ideal to make sure all family and friends feel represented. So I caved in and we bought this little one.

Price: We paid approx £40 for his frame but I'm sure It is available for less online now.

Design: Ours is a black frame and when we unboxed it I was surprised how small it was. The screen did seem very small, but it looks nice and unobtrusive which I quite like. I am glad it isn't larger, but initially I though it seemed small.

Ease of Use: So simple. Insert memory card, plug in, turn on and set speed using buttons at the back.

Performance: Pictures flash up nicely, you can choose the speed and orientation. It does what its supposed to do.

Overall a nice frame. It does what it is supposed to do. It isn't a fancy, all singing all dancing frame, but it is a digital photo frame. Nice for those who like things simple.

      dinky piece of tech

I purchased this digital photo frame as a present for my grandmother for her birthday as she had had her eye on one for a while back then.
My main reason behind purchasing this specific one was that it was very reasonably priced at £17.50, and looked to be about the same standard as other ones on sale for a much more expensive price tag.
I didn't realise the screen would actually be so small, but I suppose it is big enough and is close to the same size as a small real photo frame.
It is very easy to use, all you have to do is put a memory card with photos already on it into it and then select the picture you want to be displayed. It has many different settings and you can select to have all photos displayed in a slide show format or to have just specific photos on show at any one time.
The novelty of it has worn off slightly now, but for the price I paid I would say it is worth it.
Overall, a good piece of tech for a small price.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Not too bad a frame when all is said and done.

Well this photo frame is reasonably good for the price i paid, I managed to get my hands on one of these for £20, but they're usually priced at £35 (PC world) not too bad a price if i'm honest.

      ----What is it?
For those of you who don't know, this is a digital photo frame, which means it flicks through different photos which you pre-load onto the frame using one of several compatible memory cards, this one in particular takes MMC, SD, MS and XD, it also allows for USB connection.

      ---Features and Funtions
With this frame, you can choose whether to display your images landscape or portrait, stretch them to fit the screen, pause on one image, or flip through a slide show. It also allows you to skip the picture, go back a picture and pick how long the picture stays on the screen (5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds). The buttons for these are found on the back of the frame as big silver ovals which are very easy to press, although its unfortunate that AGFA forgot to add small images to show you what it is your pressing, so what you actually press is pretty much pot luck.

The Frame also comes with interchangeable fascias, there is the white one which is pictured above, a silver, and a black, these are attached magnetically and come off fairly easily. The white and black are particularly hardy and seem to be slightly scratch resistant, while the silver scratches easy, Bummer, as the silver in my opinion was the most attractive. The black also seems too attract the most dust, which for me is a pain as I'm not too fond of having to clean every couple of hours. So therefore, the white is the fascia of choice for me.

      ----Picture Quality
Well this very much depends on whether your stretching the image to fit the screen, and how good the quality of your original picture is. If you stretch it, sometimes it's rendered unusable, because the picture can become very pixelated, the same applies if you use low quality images.

If your using high quality images the display isn't that bad, provided you don't get too close. I have another, much better quality frame (made by Jessops) in the living room which displays family photo's and this is much better for that kind of thing. However this frame is used in my bedroom to display images of me and my friends, just random photo's that make me smile, so the importance of them being brilliant quality isn't quite as high. I would have still preferred it to be a little better...

      ----Conclusion
Well, i wont say this frame is bad, because for the price paid i don't think you could get much better... Its perfect for what i use it for and i wouldn't consider replacing it as its always worked brilliantly for me, and iv'e never had any faults...

I don't know if i would recommend it, its not brilliant, but if your like me, and just want it to be reminded of days gone by, then it is, fortunately just right.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Overall an excellent quality frame for it's price.

This is a great little digital photo frame that my husband bought me as a gift for Christmas. I had wanted a digital photograph frame for ages and I was really pleased to have received this one, on Christmas morning. I could not wait to get it up and running either and when I had unwrapped it and opened up the box, I was pleasantly surprised to find, three interchangable frames to suit the colour scheme of your room. The frames come in black, white and a lovely brushed silver. They are made of aluminium and slot very easily into place with little magnetic pads, if you need to change them. I have choosen the silver coloured one for my photo frame, as it goes well in my lounge.

The photo frame it's self is quite sturdy and seems very well made. It has a great little shiney silver stand, that holds the photo frame very securely upright, and I am pleased with how well it stays in place. On the back of the photo frame you have a slot for your memory card, six function buttons and off course the on/off button. The buttons all work really well and are very easily pressed. The buttons are also finished in a lovely shiney, silver colour that stands out nicely, on the white background.

The LCD screen is a really good viewing size, in my opinion. It is around 7 inch's and is very bright, crisp and the colours of your displayed photographs really are vibrant and so clear. The quality on this digital photograph LCD is amazing, as it is high definition. I really am extremely pleased with it's viewing display. I think the resolutions for this digital frame is 480*234, which is really good. I have seen other photo frames, at much dearer prices and honestly, this frames viewing quality is as good, if not better.

This digital frame by Agfa comes with a very tiny remote control. It is slim, well made and finished in black. It works very well and changes your display in an instant. It can also change the length of time you want to display a photograph for, from 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30 seconds or 60 seconds. You can also change the size of your display screen from 4.3 inch's to 16.9 inch,s using this remote. Of course it has the power button and fast forward rewind etc, all on board. It is a great little remote, but be careful with it, as it is very small and it is hard to find it, when it's lost.

I find it displays most images and formats well, but you need to check the memory card that you are using, is supported by the photo frames player. It gives a list of these in the great little instruction manual, that comes in the box. I have had to look through the manual a few times myself and everything is clearly stated in there.

Overall I would have to say this is an excellent digital photo frame, that I really am delighted to have received as a gift. I have it viewing in my lounge all day long and it has been admired by everyone. It really does display all my photographs in a great little side show, that I never get bored looking at. My photographs look amazing displayed on this frame. They are the clearest I have ever seen them. I am extremely happy with this photograph frame in every single aspect of it.

I really would also highly recommend this digital frame to others, as I am sure they will be delighted with the overall quality of this digital frame, as much as I have been. The price of this frame in under £60 and I actually think it might be cheaper now. For this price range, it sure beats a lot of other expensive frames, that I have seen on display. It is an excellent digital photo frame all in all. Welldone Agfa.
