First you saw changing pictures on the wall in the Harry Potter films and now the same has happened in real life! I saw these a couple of Christmasses ago in a high street store and remember being fascinated at how they worked. A year down the line, my mum invested in one in a sale, costing her about thirty pounds I believe. The frame is designed to hold your Kodak memory card so that you can watch your favourite photos unfolding right before your eyes.
The frame size is about seven inches which seems ample to me to be able to see your photos being displayed and the frame can sit on a shelf and stand up on its own accord. What is amazing is the amount of pictures one can get on the thing, it claims it will take up to four thousand photos. I am not sure we have more than ten circulating on our one one, so we have quite a long way to go! If you did ever get to this amount, you could be assured of a picture for nearly every moment of the year I reckon.
The frame does need to be plugged in for it to work and comes with a generous length of cable for you to do this, but the cable is discreet enough and not an eyesore. The frame itself looks very smart and chic and has a really plush finish to it which makes it look expensive. As for the picture quality, you cannot fault the crispness of the images as they appear. High definition images which really accentuate the brightness and tones within each photos. The frame seems to deliver a much sharper picture quality than your standard Kodak still. It is rather like seeing the action live!
Setting the frame up is straight forward too, with a simple enough plug in and go system. The menu system is easy to navigate though can take a while to find your desired picture if you have a lot of photos stored. What I like most is the ingenuity of the product and how you can leave the room and return to see it rotating different photos right before the eyes. This would make a good gift for Christmas for a relative.
Summary: fun way of viewing photos
