Intro
------
We all are living in the digital age, and the digital frame is now a relatively old invention, meaning that they have really come down in price so you can genuinely find a little bit of value in finding a good product. The digital photo frame does make displaying your images far easier, firstly, you do not have to start any printing, and also photos falling down or on walls will not mess up your living room or take up your wall space. This makes it a fantastic idea, and should be considered by anyone who wishes to display their favourite snaps.
The Easyshare P725
--------------------------
Firstly, let me describe the photo frame to you. It has a black border running around the edge, which is about an inch wide, which gives it a nice modern feel. The display is 800 by 600 pixels, which is not fantastic and not the best you can buy, but it certainly does a job and is worth considering as a bit more of a budget option.
A downside to the build is that you can only have the product in landscape, which is a bit of a pain if you have some nice portrait photos, as you will not be able to put them on, or everyone will be lying down in your living room! It is quite a hefty product, weighing in at over 300grams and is a couple of inches thick, meaning that it is not quite as sleek and sharp as the above picture would try and illustrate!
It is powered by the mains and has a nice 1.8M lead, meaning that you can really get it to stretch to the area you want, which is definitely a plus point. Nobody wants a product that they cannot put in the position they really require.
Kodak claim you can store thousands of photo on this, but i believe that can only be done if you are using a very poor quality camera. Looking at the maths on my own, i think a typical digital camera would produce photos at a quality whereby you can put about 200 on this. That is certainly not fantastic, but it is good enough, and means that you are unlucky to see the same photo twice in a short amount of time.
It is also really easy to clean, just use a soft, dry cloth, and this gets rid of any nasty fingerprints or marks that have got on over the last week or so.
Pricewise
------------
I think this currently retails around the £55 mark, which is quite reasonable for a digital photo frame. It represents the fact that this is a bit of a budget product but that it does a job.
Summary
-----------
A good product that is worth considering if you want a nice photo frame without spending overly too much money!
Summary: Worth a punt.
