I am not quite happy with a purchase of this photoframe. Despite a nice design, it is not of the highest quality. First of all, the screen produces "funny" glitches with some pictures which distort the object. I believe these glitches are a result of the frame's resolution which certainly left space for improvement. Secondly, as I live in a neighborhood where power-cuts are fairly frequent, it poses an invonvenience for me. The frame has a clock and calendar function which are reset when unplugged. In addition to that, the self-timer which can switch on the frame at a set time doesn't always work, as opposed to the switch off timer. The built-in memory is pretty much standard among photo frames - 16 Mb. The configuration buttons are placed at the back of the frame. They are quite small and it took me quite some time to begin smoothly setup all the options. However, a big advantage of Samsung SPF-71E is its price. It is a good idea for a present.
