Advantages: Could come in useful to someone

Disadvantages: none

So when it comes to packing your luggage ready for your holidays, everybody's worst fear is that they will forget something really important. My best tip for this would be to start writing yourself a list a few weeks before you leave and spend five minutes every evening having a think if there is anything you have left out which you need to include. After a few weeks the list should hopefully be quite full and you wouldn't have left anything out.

I've included a list of things which I wouldn't want to forget, hopefully it might help someone to:

1/ Passport/Tickets - These things should be first on everyones list because you won't be leaving the country without them.

2/ Clothes - Obviously unless your planning on spending your whole holiday on a nudist beach you will definetly be needing these.

3/ Soap/Shampoo - If your going somewhere hot you will probably sweat a lot and you don't want to get smelly.

4/ Painkillers - If you like the odd drink (or ten) when your on holiday you dont want to be suffering with a bad head the next day.

5/ Sun cream - You don't want to burn your skin so make sure it is an appropriate factor for wherever you're going.

6/ Book/Magazine - These will be a godsend if you have a really long journey.

7/ Travel plug - Or any electricals you take with you will be useless.

8/ Address Book - So you have all the address's of people you would like to send postcards to.

9/ Money - Well you won't have much of a holiday without it, I would recommend travellers cheques if travelling abroad, but thats a personal choice.

10/ Dictionary - If your going to a foreign country this will be really useful, guaranteed your good at pronounceing new words of course.

Well Theres my short list, hopefully it will be of interest or use to someone!

Summary: Pity I'm not going on holiday this year!
