Advantages: Checklist
Disadvantages: None
My 10 indispensable things to take on holiday with me are : Make a checklist and tick off each thing as they go into the case or hand luggage. Dont over pack!
Number 10: Number 10.. Books and Magazines! These should be packed into your hand luggage so you can read this on the plane. I tend to take this in my hand luggage and read about 10/15 mins of it then watch some television or look out the window but these are good for those days lying around the pool catching some sun.. Always handy to have
Number 9: Number 9.. Sunglasses! .. Remember to pack those sunglasses for going away. Pack these either in your case or in your hand luggage. Sun glasses are a must because sight seeing and even walking about can be hard if the sun is beating right on your face and you cant see because it is blinding you so the sunglasses keep the sun out of your eyes and let you enjoy the sights and walks..
Number 8: Number 8.. Sun tan Lotion and Aftersun Lotion! This is a must for going on holiday! Dont want to be coming back burnt red or with sunstroke. Depending on how your skin takes to the sun depends on what number of lotion you take. Always rub aftersun lotion on after that long day out in the sun! This will help the tan to form and come out and calm down any burning!
Number 7: Number 7.. Holiday clothes.. My holiday clothes essentials are my bikinis, my shorts 3/2 lengths, t-shirts, underwear and dress's for going out. A Hat! People tend to forget hats when going on holiday but these are must to protect your head from the sun especially guys with short hair!! I tend not too pack too many heavy clothes ie jeans etc as when i go away we go to hot countrys and jeans just wont be worn by me here! I am always in my bikinis, with strap tops over and my shorts! Need to get the tan somehow!
Number 6: Number 6.. My beach towel is my number 6 indispensable thing for taking on holiday with me! I love my beach towels and these are always an essential on my list..
Number 5: Number 5.. Got to be my toliet accessories bag. This bag has my shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouth wash. I consider these to be my toliet accessorie essentials!
Number 4: Number 4.. medicine that you have to take. This should be put in your hand luggage when you are packing, place this in plastic sellophine pockets and zip to save them falling out. The worst thing ever would be going on holiday and not having your necessary medication or tablets.
Number 3: My number 3..A camera, disposable or battery operated does not matter. Camera is always an essential when going on holiday. Disposable cameras are good as these can take good pics and get them developed when you get home and not worry about losing your expensive camera. A battery operated/memory card camera is good as well as all pictures of fun times/scenery/anything at all can be put onto this camera and then your memory card can transfer them onto your computer and deal with them at a later date!
Number 2: My number 2 thing that I need to take on holiday and everyone else should take on holiday with them is money! Money should if possible always be transferred into the the currency of money for the country you are going to whether this be dollars, euros etc... Exchange rates are not great just now but shop around for the best rate you can get. It is also useful to have some cash on you in Sterling (or your own currency) to spend at the airport and incase of emergencies.
Number 1: My number 1.. A must have is your passport and travel documents! Firstly you will need this to get out of the country and into the one you are going to and for the way home! Keep this in a safe place when you get to your holiday destination, either always on yourself, in a lockable/zipped bag or a lockable safe!My number 1 thing that I need to take on holiday and everyone else should take on holiday with them is money! Holiday documents are must because you need this to check in and out of the hotel and for prove of who you are and where you are going
Summary: My top ten essentials
