Advantages: These things come in handy, you need them

Disadvantages: You wont get far without some of them

The last time i was on holiday was in March when my lovely boyfriend decided to book a surprise holiday away for the two of us to Florida! Brilliant i thought and i was really excited to get a tan but also nervous at the same time as i suffer from Agorophobia and wasnt sure if i would be able to get on the plane or leave the house. Finally, the day came and with the help of my medication, i was able to go. Here are the ten things that i think are indispensible and you need to bring on holiday with you ~

1 ~ Money

This is kind of an obvious one as you arent going to get very far without money and if you dont have at least this with you to start of with, then youre in a bit of a predicament (unless you have a rich partner who wants to pay for everything lol)

2 ~ Passport

If youre travelling anywhere beyond a local flight or anywhere half decent, youre going to need your passport. Try getting on the plane without it, no chance!

3 ~ Condoms and / or birth control

Normally when people go on holiday the sun and heat makes them a little bit frisky. When youre away, you dont have anything else to do but relax and most people like having lots of sex on holiday. Imagine how gutted you would be to forget the necessarys in a moment of passion - it sucks lol

4 ~ Medication

As i said before, my particular medication was a lifesaver in helping me get outside and on the plane and helped relax me a lot too when i was outside ( i usually panic like crazy!) so if you take medication dont forget it. Otherwise, depending on your medical condition, it may ruin your holiday.

5 ~ A camera

Everyone knows that one of the main reasons to go on holiday is so you can take loads of lovely pictures to make people back at home jealous and go "Ohhh" and "Ahh" when looking at them green with envy. Thats why a camera is an essential

6 ~ Your suitcase

Because sometimes its helpful and comfortable to have things like clothes when youre going away :)

7 ~ Sunglasses

A lifesaver on really sunny days as the sun just blinds me if i dont have my shades. Remember that they also make you look cool.

8 ~ Make-up

Lets face it, what woman is going to go on holiday without her make-up bag. Not many!

9 ~ First aid kit

Some people may think this is unnecessary but everytime i have been on holiday i have used mine and been really glad to have it. I usually just buy a toiletries bag and stuff it full of painkillers, bandages, plasters, diarrohea tablets etc and this will come in very handy!

10 ~ Last but not least...... a good book!

I usually get through about three or four books in two weeks lying by the pool. These are brilliant to have as you can read them at the pool, airport, beach, apartment, when youre bored.

I think thats everything. If you remember all of these things then youll be set. Have fun and see if theres some room for me in your suitcase!
