Review of the Year 2009 ... end of another year and we re starting to see these reviews again. 2008 was a year of contrasts for me - dizzying highs of new love and despairing lows of deaths of close family - I was glad for it to end all things considered. 2009 has been much more run of the mill which has been wonderful, but it s certainly flown by! What did you do in 2009 that you have not done before? I went on a diet - proper calorie counting and everything! After coming back from hols in July my clothes were really tight and I realised how the weight had been creeping on. I said enough was enough and went on a proper limited-calorie diet. Swine Flu ... months of media hysteria and panic, swine flu appears to have made itself known in our household. To be honest, I was starting to wonder whether the whole Swine Flu phenomenon was an elaborate hoax, designed to see just how many millions of people would claim to have developed this fabricated condition in order to skive a few weeks off work! I think we all familiar with the Swine Flu pandemic now.
