I have been running for quite a while now and I really enjoy getting up early and going down to the runing track. I warm up for a while and then with the cold breeze on my back take of for a run around. I usually go for the 400 m lap and have a great time out there every morning. when you go on a 400 m run you get a lot of muscles going and really letting every thing in your life just drop away while you run around the track. Our best 400 meter runner is mark richardson who has been injured for a while but is getting back on his feet again but didn't do so wekk at the championships, mainly because he was in the outside lane. The 400m ... Read the complete review

There is no way that anyone is ever going to beat Michael Johnson in the 400m unless they are given a 5 second lead for example- He is THAT good. His technique may be run, but the end result is most certainly right- how can anyone run 400m in sub 44 secs is beyond me. He is just so relaxed which is possobly why he can runs these times so frequently. He runs a composed first 200, and makes sure he has kept up with the rest, before accelerating down the final bend, and usually winning by at least 20-30 metres. He is simply one of the best athletes in the world, and has excelled for many years in the 400m. It is a shame that he injured himself ... Read the complete review

What class and a style all of his own, thats Michael Johnson, having just jogged in to win the 400m final this man is surely a class all of his own. Never has he been beaten in a major championship either individual or relay over eight years he is purely awesome. With a win like this you just can;t deny him respect. Iin every heat he ran he just whooped the rest of the field, he didn't even have to try!!! All credit to Michael Johnson (even though he is American!!!!). ... Read the complete review

Can anyone come near Michael Johnson in the 400m run? For two days now he has jogged the one lap course and still come in first in his heat. He is so good that people will only say he ran well if he breaks the world record. The gold medal is his already, and it might be nice if the Olympic committee sends it out tonight to have his name engraved on the back. My prediction is in the finals when he really runs he will beat the rest of the field by a second or two. ... Read the complete review

Has he been cheated of a place in the Olympics? Yes, we've all seen the headlines with athletes left right and centre and all the drug taking allegations and counter allegations. It's mostly about this substance called Nandrolone. But what is it? I'm sure I don't know. Whatever it is, it looks set to cost Mark Richardson a place in the Olympics, barring a last minute reprive. This must be heartbreaking for him. I've seen him in lots of interviews since and he seems to be taking it really well, but I doubt if he can really be that cheery. He's going to miss-out on the chance of a life-time. All athletes dream one day of ... Read the complete review
