Advantages: none
Disadvantages: can be annoying
Everyone is strange is to some degree, and some things you find strange others won't and vice versa. You may look at people and think they are a bit strange or odd looking or something they do may be odd. Here are 5 things which I think I'm a bit strange.
1) I never eat yellow sweets
You probably think what? Why? And to be honest I don't know really all I remember is that when I was young I always thought yellow sweets were poison. I think something's you just can't shake off I think this will stay with me for the rest of my life. When my little ones eat yellow sweets I cringe! And of course if they give me one I never eat it!
2) I switch all the plugs off at night
You can either find it strange, safety conscious or just plain annoying. The only switches I will leave on are the fridge freezer and the alarm clock. My wife goes mad at me as she comes downstairs in the morning and has to switch everything all back on. I don't know where this comes from I just think I've always been very careful when it comes to safety and having my children has made me even more so. Yes it can be annoying for my wife but she does see why I do it, I have friends who laugh when my wife tells then what I do but at the end of the day I like to sleep at night feeling we are all as safe as possible.
3) I have horrible feet
I know you are probably saying most people don't like their feet, but mine are really horrible! If you saw them you would understand. I'm a size 11 so quite large, and my wife describes them as claws she hates them, in fact she hates to look at them and totally refuses to touch them (a foot massage is out of the question). When I was younger I had to have the tendons cut in my toes next to my big toe as they kept growing (gross). Now my feet are very narrow and my toes next to my big toe are much longer they are really quite long. Call it strange or just plain gross!
4) I don't walk on the lines!
What is this? Well when I was younger and we walked anywhere that had pavement slabs I always had to walk in-between the lines, I could never walk on the lines please don't ask me why as I really don't know is it something a lot of children did? I find now when I'm anywhere with pavements slabs I still do it but of course now I try and do it discreetly after all I am 31!
5) I can't lie in
When I was a teen and through my early adulthood I would spend most of the day in bed if I'd been out the night before and wasn't at school, college etc. Now as soon as its 7 a.m. that is it I'm up even if I've had a few drinks the night before or have been out. I can go to bed at 2a.m. and still wake at 7, and normally feel absolutely fine. My wife on the other hand can lie in and never understands why I can't? I think sometimes she feels bad if she lies in and I get up with the kids, but I just simply can't lie in!
Well these are what I think is strange about me I expect there's a lot stranger than me.
Summary: everyone is alittle strange
