Things to do while home alone for the night!:
... s not very often that I get the house to myself as a student, however, when I do it s a bit of a luxury and I do enjoy it. The evening usually starts with a nice meal, as I m actually able to get into the kitchen and spend more than ten minutes cooking my dinner before somebody else wants to use the oven/hob/get in my way! I ll crack open a bottle of chilled wine and make something tasty for myself, probably whi... Read the full review: A Night in on my Own! by stuntpilotx |

Photography ... am 25 years old and have never been good at art, drawing, painting, colouring in or any of those things but have always been very creative and so simply love picking up my camera and taking it out and about to see what I can capture. Photography used to be one of those hobbies that many considered to be an elitist passtime but with the ever improving camera market leading to a great amount of price reduction and better technology available to more people thanks to much better value for moeny it is now becomming a passtime that more and more people are taking up. I have personally always been into photography but not into spending hundreds of pounds to pick up a profess... Read the full review: The new hobby for all by tangoman84 |

TV adverts in general ... am a great fan of surveys, some of you may or may not know this, but it s true, and often in the course of my hobby of survey-taking, I do have to watch TV adverts. I may say this is the ONLY time I volunteer to watch adverts on TV. The ONLY time. I do not like adverts on principle. They stink. They are appalling, intrusive and often very offensive. They never seem to say what they mean and they often demean anyone involved in them. The fact that they work is neither here nor there, who cares, really?! I feel that adverts in the seventies had some verve and pep - who remembers Finger of Fudge? Who remembers Frito Banditos? I do. I used to enjoy them then, when...
