Applying for postgraduate courses.:
... you are thinking of applying for postgraduate study, then you are not alone - each year, thousands of people apply to the 12,000+ postgraduate courses that are available in the UK. Revision Tips... ... s that time again... revision time! Oh joy! With the exams looming like a big black thunder cloud it is time to knuckle down and revise. Even if a syllabus/ course content guide has not been given to you, ask your lecturer for a copy. 2. Make sure you have a complete set of notes. If, like me, you have lectures at 9am Monday morning and the thought of sitting in a freez... Read the full review: ~ Ah the beautiful summer days spent revising... GRR! ~ by blue_ashleigh |

How to study effectively? ... have finally found an effective way to study (for me). Clearly everyone differs in their studying/revision techniques, and for that matter, their motivation to study as well! I have friends who have taken exams recently with the attitude "I ll feel worse about failing if I don t work than if I do". Personally I don t see the point in being at university with this attitude. (By the way, my studying methods are biased towards essay subjects). Anyway, I have found what works for me, and it varies on the work. If I am revising: 1. I have to have quiet, and find the library the best place. 2. Make a list of all the possible topics that can occur on your exam. ... Read the full review: What works for me! by HelenW |
