... love films and tend to quote them quite a lot, sad I know but when it came down to choosing my top-ten favourite quotes I was stuck. I mean which ones to choose. The list that follows therefore is a mixture of quotes that have stuck in my head and I ve changed the order of these a fair few times I can tell you. Some have done so because they are funny, others because they are poignant. They all have however for som... Read the full review: They might be obscure but I like them by MI9to5 |

There have been no movies that i have particularly wanted to go to see. I think commercialism just over took art in the past 20 years or so, maybe even before that, and i am only now old enough now to see it, but movie makers just seem to be churning out endless generic romance comedies and action movies with worn out plots and actors who are maybe to old to fill the role of their most recent sequel. (As they have been out of commission and character for a good 15 ye... Read the full review: Movie Slump by chaobreeder16 |

I presume it was about the girls in high school which base everything on fashion and outside appearance after they get a job, but it had no real plot or character development in my opinion, so i would not reco... In principal, I believe that everybody should be free to say what they think, watch what they want and believe what they want, provided that they accept that not everybody will see things the same way. It s a tolerance thing. Even when people say really stupid or judgmental things, I think it s entirely appropriate to allow them to say them. To deny people such rights creates an undercurrent of repression, bitterness and often hatred, sometimes fuelling extreme ideas on the basis that believers become martyrs to their cause. There is a very common mentality in the world today that if somebody finds something offensive, or that the... Read the full review: A History Of Violence by plipplop |
