milly234 What would you do if you won the lottery?: ... be honest, I never play the lottery as I sont have a lucky bone in my body, also I dont have a spare pound very often. We can all dream though and here are a few of my dreams about if I won the lottery, what would I do. First off, I would cash in that bad boy as soon as possible but try and keep the win quite hush hush, i dont need the press or other people involved in my business thank you. Then I would throw...

Gaven What would you do if you won the lottery?
... must come high on most peoples list of dreams. It certainly is one of mine, as i m not afraid to admit that i love money, and DO think it is possible to buy happiness! In a material sense at least. Say i had a lottery win there s various things i would do, none particularly original, but still things that i could never even dream of doing without this kind of luck! First off, i would not quit my job. In one of my other reviews (5 reasons people think i m strange) i stated that i love my job, and would not want to quit, although i would consider working for free! I would first pay off my parents mortgage, and gift them enough to retire comfortably, immediately. Wh...

andrew_dav What would you do if you won the lottery?
... think if I won the lottery then one of the first things I would do it keep it to myself and reflect on the situation. I think everyone I know would be making contact with me if I did and I think my first priority would be to put things into perspective. I would ultimately secure my financial situation. I would pay off my credit card and overdraft and make sure that I have all of my outstanding debts clear and that Im completely in the black. Next I d move onto my parents. I m sympathetic that they are getting on in life and deserve a happy retirement in future years to come when they get to that stage so I d offer to clear their mortgage and anything that they would...

Clurbur85 How has the Credit Crunch affected you?
... some ways I think the credit crunch was just what I needed... a wake up call. Back in 2003 I went on a gap year to Canada - I had the time of my life - skiing, sky diving and white water rafting. Upon my return I started university (whit a pretty hefty credit card bill from my gap year). But instead of being sensible and paying my debt off, I added to it, buying new clothes, going out drinking four nights a week and buying a new outfit every time a special occasion occurred. Upon graduation I had two credit cards with about £3,000 on them, a hefty overdraft and a laptop bill to pay. In order to get myself "straight" I took out graduate loan to pay everyth...
