Advantages: prevent unhapiness, if your yound you can still enjoy life

Disadvantages: you loose a life, guilt?

A touchy subject for all, many of us will know somebody who has either given birth at a young age or had an abortion. I can see why this is a touchy subject, I know someone who gave birth at 17. The problem for giving birth at such a young age is that suddenly there are a lot more responsibilities, no longer can you go out as much. Also the boyfriend is given responsibilities, that is if he stops around.
There is however a danger that both parents will become unhappy because they may only be together for the kid. In many cases you hear of the boyfriend not wanting to know, and I feel in these kind of cases abortion should be allowed.
In conclusion to this matter I would argue that abortion should be allowed because it can not only make the lives of the parents unhappy, but that unhappyness will also rub off on the child. I think it should be a decision for the mother to make, if she feels she can support the child and bring it up with a living family then theres no reason to have an abortion. I think when it comes to adoption this could sometimes to be hard for the mother to give away the child.

Summary: To be thought long and hard before having one.
