Advantages: Might improve or save a life, you have the choice

Disadvantages: traumatic and you have to live with it for the rest of your life

Abortions will always be a controversial topic. But I don't believe that you can say that no-one should have ever an abortion. It's not as black and white and argument as that.

I am totally against abortion being just another form of contraception. First and foremost people should be careful before having sex and take the proper precautions.

The second consideration should be with the woman. There may be health implications, the baby might have a strong chance of being deformed or ill. The mothers life might be at risk or she might have been raped or some other factor that would affect the family and babies life. In these cases then I believe the abortion should be an option.

Having an abortion is a very traumatic experience or all involved, especially for the woman (obviously) and it must be almost impossible for men to imagine what it is like.

Life is a very precious thing. We have read in this forum of peoples individual experiences...in the end it should be the woman's choice. She should not be victimized or judged by that choice. But she should make the choice for the right reasons. Not for convenience. But for life...either the babies or her and her families. And the family should stand by that decision...whatever it may be.
